Getting to the Barbican

The Barbican Centre hosts a page describing all the ways of getting to it here.

All of London's major airports have direct train links (these include Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Express) into the centre of the city from which local transportation is available.

The nearest tube station to The Barbican is called "Barbican".

Also, the venue is also within walking distance of Moorgate, Liverpool Street and St Paul's stations.

Travel routes may be planned using the Transport for London journey planner – enter "Barbican Centre" as destination (Select option 1, "City of London, Barbican Centre"). We will provide detailed instructions to get to the venue from all major hubs.

For an indicative price, to travel from Heathrow to the Barbican costs £14.20 (£9.50 for Heathrow Connect train and £4.70 for tube from Paddington to Barbican station). You can get the Tube from Heathrow (via the Piccadilly Line stations) to Barbican for a single fare £5.70 cash (or £5.00 on Oyster).
