Wikimánie 2014 v Londýně bude desátá v řadě výročních mezinárodních konferencí a nabízí jedinečnou příležitost pro společenství Wikimedie a pro naše projekty, abychom se sešli, podělili se o své záměry a dospěli k lepším způsobům, jak pracovat společně na mezinárodní úrovni
Ať jste člen společenství nějakého projektu Wikimedie (jako je Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikidata, Wikisource, Wikinews, Wikimedia Commons, Wiktionary, MediaWiki nebo jiných) nebo volný přispěvatel článků anebo uživatel, vítáme váš návrh pro zasedání Wikimánie 2014.

Souhrnně
Desátá výroční Wikimánie se koná od 6. do 10. srpna 2014 v Londýnu a hlavní program začíná 8. srpna.
Pořad Wikimánie 2014 je rozvržený tak, aby poskytl účastníkům konference mnoho příležitostí k aktivní práci pro předmět jejich zájmu, pro prostředí a především pro sebe navzájem. Londýn může hrát velkou roli ve Wikimánii 2014 jako místo propojení zájmů vlády, kultury, médií a akademií pro obecné cíle série konferencí Wikimánie.
V souladu s těmito cíli a tématy program zahrne tradiční konferenční možnosti, jako papírové prezentace, semináře, panelové diskuse a schůze účastníků. Poskytne oddychový prostor a přestávky pro setkávání účastníků.

There's a lot happening behind those articles; there's a huge, ever changing rabble that has somehow self organised to create something extraordinary. How did this happen? How does it work? Where's it headed? Can we improve it?
Technology, Interface & Infrastructure
Wikimedia is not just open content, but open source, and there are many significant changes that have happened, and are still to come.
You might like to consider attending the Hackathon, and submitting your session there, if you're looking primarily for a technical audience.
Legal & Free Culture
Making the world's content free! What does this mean? Why is it important? What projects are people working on? Have you done something great with some free content?
GLAM Outreach
Are you working with a GLAM to release some content or access their expertise?
Education Outreach
How can Wikimedia be used in Education? Can students be valuable members of the community?
Open Scholarship
As the Open Access and Open Science movements progress, how can Academia best interact with Wikimedia?
Open Data
Open Data – in government, in academia, and elsewhere – is here to stay. The Wikimedia movement now has Wikidata. How is the project progressing? What can we do with it? How should it interact with other open data projects?
Presentation lengths
Each year, we receive a large number submissions for the programme. To accommodate as many of the great presentations as possible, we strongly suggest that you limit your proposed session's length to be a maximum of 30 minutes, including time for questions. You can request additional time, which may be granted if your proposal is particularly extensive. The programme committee may offer a shorter slot than you propose if time in the schedule is tight.
Submissions
By submitting a proposal, you must agree that:
- your proposal's abstract and any slides associated with it will be released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike Licence 3.0; and
- if accepted, the session will be broadcast and/or recorded and made available in audio and/or visual form under said licence.
If you object to these requirements (for instance, if you would prefer not to be filmed), please talk to a programme committee member before submitting a proposal.
Your proposal will be discussed and rated in public by the programme committee, and you will be notified through the contact information you supply of the committee's decision. If your submission is not added to the preliminary schedule, please do not be discouraged: Wikimania 2014 will have time set aside in the schedule for participants and attendees to participate in unofficial, self-organised talks and working groups.
