I have been a Wikimedian since 2003, mostly contributing to the English and German Wikipedia as User "HaeB".

I gave Wikipedia-related presentations at Wikimania 2008 (abstract,slides and notes), Wikimania 2009 (abstract, slides and notes), 26C3 (abstract, slides and notes), a 2012 zhwiki meetup (slides), Wikimania 2012 (abstract, slides) and Wikimania 2013 (as presenter and panelist).

Since July 2011, I have been working in the Wikimedia Foundation' Communications team. In that function, I an editing and publishing the monthly WMF reports, introduced the separate, translation-friendly Wikimedia Highlights format, worked on the WMF annual reports, co-founded and co-edit the Wikimedia Research Newsletter, and form part of the groups that take care of https://blog.wikimedia.org/ and the official social media accounts for Wikipedia and other. Previously, as volunteer, I served as the editor of the Signpost on the English Wikipedia from 2010 to 2011.
