About meI'm a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and a Texas native. I've been in San Francisco since 2006. Prior to Wikimedia Foundation I worked in-house at Autodesk on AutoCAD platform products, in consultancies such as Ammunition Group, MetaDesign, ICONMOBILE, and Lunar. I live with my partner Shannon Badiee in The Mission with our two Sphynx cats Math & Carbon. I'm an active travel photographer and take every chance I get to travel and document my journey. I am also a reviewer on Quora; you can frequently find me there contributing to the community. |
My workAs Director of User Experience my team is responsible for the look and feel of the Wikimedia Foundation projects in conjunction with our community. This includes working with the Engineering and Product Management group to envision new projects and features as well as fine tune existing ones based on needs we've identified and conversations we have with the communities of the sites the foundation helps to enable.
