Beurs WMNL

This is my request for a Beurs (scholarship) given by Wikimedia Nederland. I'm an active member of WMNL, having attended the WCN, ALV and several WikiZaterdagen. I contribute on a daily basis to the Dutch and English language Wikipedia and am an very active contributor to Wikimedia Commons, having uploaded almost 2,500 photographs I've taken myself and another 1000 media files from other sources. In my role as an administrator of Wikimedia Commons I'm also on the lookout for copyright violations.

I've used my developer skills to improve Wikipedia over the years, having developed a web based application for processing lists of municipal monuments for the Dutch Wikipedia.

I've submitted a proposal to talk about the Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia group. This group is very active in attracting new members. In this group I'm the go-to person for questions about media files, copyright, templates and other more advanced editing skills.

I am fine with reporting after Wikimania in London, and have also done so after previous trips representing WMNL. I have read the WMNL Beurs application conditions and agree with them. --1Veertje (talk) 22:43, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
