Could this be part of Submissions/Legal Demands: The Good, The Bad, & The Just Plain Wrong? Geraldshields11 (talk) 22:03, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- I don't know how often Wikipedia or other Wikimedia projects receive takedown demands relating to trademarks; however, I would be glad to discuss what trademark law has to say about this as part of a larger discussion. I can tell you up front that unless the mark itself is also subject to copyright protection (which is a fairly rare thing, most marks being either words alone or very simple designs), there is almost no circumstance under which any trademark holder could legitimately prevent Wikipedia from displaying and discussing the mark itself in the context of an article for which there is some rational reason to display the mark.
