Accessibility

It's been suggested that this isn't accessible for people who can't make wikitables. Could convert it to a google spreadsheet I guess? EdSaperia (talk) 09:07, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

I guess so, but not everyone likes Google spreadsheets either. For now, I think the opening section should be opened up for translation as done for the attendees page, which will make it easier for non-native English speakers to learn how to add themselves. Duplication

The duplication is unfortunate, but it's probably too late to merge the two now. For next year, I think we should have one enhanced attendees page. CT Cooper · talk 23:48, 25 July 2014 (UTC)

{{Attendees}} contains much less personal information than that included here. IMO this hello page should be {{delete}}d for privacy reasons shortly after the conference is all done. Given the nature of internet archives these days, I'm not sure deleting the page after the conference will achieve very much. In any case, people are free to use their own judgement on what they disclose. CT Cooper · talk 19:22, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

"Region" is a political term

I've assigned regions to help the table sort properly. However, "Latin America" is a bit of a dodgy region, as are "Far East" and "Asia". Feel free to re-assign. --Slashme (talk) 20:41, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
