Pywikibot is the most popular framework for running bots. It has been widely used since 2003. Recently, this framework faced big changes, including migration from svn to git, migration from sorceforge to bugzilla, etc. As a developer in this project, I want to present this and talk about bots in general, how to contribute to Wikimedia projects via pywikibot, pywikibot important milestones, pywikibot and Wikidata, and ways to contribute to pywikibot.
