LGBT Meetup

The Fifth Annual Wikimania LGBT Meetup at Wikimania 2014 in London will bring together LGBT Wikimedians and allies from around the globe. It is currently scheduled to take place the evening of Saturday, August 9, in Frobisher 6 from 18:30 (6:30pm) onwards.

Please see meta:Talk:Wikimedia LGBT#LGBT Meetup at Wikimania 2014 for discussion on organizing this meetup. Plans are to meet at the Barbican at 6:30 to discuss LGBT-related work within the Wikimedia movement, then meet again at Retro Bar at 20:00 (8pm) for additional meet and greet time.

I'm a London local, so I have an idea where the ~~nastiest~~ most lively LGBT places are, there are plenty to choose from. If in doubt borrow a copy of the Spartacus International Gay Guide and the London Time Out is handy for deciding which cultural events to fit in, with plenty of LGBT interest.
