Hi, thanks for your interest. I combine my experience as a long time Wikipedian and sysop with my expertise in teaching language skills. I'm currently using Wikipedia to encourage my students to write and improve articles about things they are familiar with (hometown, history, music groups, etc). The idea is to improve articles on Wikipedia and, at the same time, encourage students to edit Wikipedia as active users and not as passive ones.
