- Wikipedia's gendergap is well documented. Only 6% of the contributors to the Dutch Wikipedia are women, and the English Wikipedia only scores a little better at 12%. As an active contributor to the art pages on Wikimedia projects, I decided to look at the gendergap in my corner of the Wikipedia universe. I look at the problem from 3 angles: Women who contribute, women's biographies and their artworks, and women in the sources.

- I gave versions of this presentation at the Wikimedia Conference in Utrecht in November 2013 and again at the Art & Feminism edit-a-thon in Amsterdam in February 2014.
