Scholarship Travel

If you have been awarded a scholarship for Wikimania from the WMF, the registration system register you for the conference and also capture your hotel and travel needs which will enable the Foundation's travel team to make these arrangements for you. A link and code to the registration system will be provided in early May.

The information given there will be used by WMF and its travel agency, T&T, to propose a travel plan, which needs to be confirmed by you within 24 hours of receiving it.

The Foundation will not arrange visas so please apply yourself if you require one. The Foundation can support your application with a letter of invitation. Please see Visas for more information.

Any travel or accommodation required outside of the conference dates (before August 5th and after August 10th) will have to be arranged by you.
