Description

We will take the tube public transport into the West End and we will walk between statues of famous women, hearing and telling stories about British history and highlights of British women educators, creators, and thinkers. We will end up at the Houses of Parliament. We will have the option of continuing the conversation in a pub following the tour.

If everyone who turns up at 2pm already has an Oyster card, we'll take the 243, from stop BX on Goswell Road, 7 stops to Kingsway/Holburn Tube station. If not, we'll walk to St Paul's, and take the Tube two stops to Holburn. If you don't want to start from the Barbican, you're welcome to join us at the statue of Margaret McDonald, on the northern side of Lincoln's Inn Fields (approx WC2A 3BP). She's our first stop, and we'll arrive there around 2:45.
