The need

WikiMedia UK has produced some training for new wiki editors in their VLE. This includes text and images, and quiz questions. All this material is free content, but until recently reusing the quiz questions in other contexts has not been convenient. A new tool by Magnus Manske (Wikisoba) solves the problem of how to code quizzes into a URL hosted on Wikimedia Labs. The session will offer a chance to work with it.

Practicalities

  • Date and time: August 7, 11 am - 12pm.
  • Location: South Frobisher 3, Barbican Centre
  • Facilitator: Charles Matthews
  • Requirements: Please bring a laptop.
  • Who: other chapters people/other program leaders in the education space/anyone interested in quizzes
